From an early age, she knew she didn’t want a typical life. She wanted more. More came in the form of being a whitewater river guide, fly fishing, co-owning an outfit taking people on multi-day tours aided by llamas. More came in the form a master plan to move to Alaska.
Running the Last Great Race, the Iditarod, a 1000 mile race across Alaska was part of the master plan. That didn’t happen. What did happen? Traveling 800 miles across the state on a snowmobile. More turned into winter mornings guiding snowmobile trips for people checking off a life of bucket lists. Less is never more. Alaska is always more.
